Our concert series also follows the unified curatorial vision for the space, this year under the title of Line of Innovation. With its multi-genre focus—ranging from classical music to jazz, soul, and other musical styles—Artium opens itself to diverse audiences and encourages the discovery of new musical directions and performers.
The third and final spring concert was dedicated to trumpeter, composer, bandleader, and amateur painter Laco Déczi, who lives in the United States and, at 85, continues to tour globally.
Bárta took the stage at Artium with his unmistakable voice and exceptional technique, accompanied by his long-time guitarist Jaroslav Friedl.
Artium’s 2024 thematic programme Line of Courage began with a spring concert by Czech musician Ondřej Pivec.
