Our concert series also follows the unified curatorial vision for the space, this year under the title of Line of Responsibility. With its multi-genre focus—ranging from classical music to jazz, soul, and other musical styles—Artium opens itself to diverse audiences and encourages the discovery of new musical directions and performers.
The September concerts offered encounters with Japanese tradition and European classics, the youthful energy of Concertino Praga competitors, the virtuoso piano of the emerging generation, and the familial harmony of David and Lukáš Mareček.
The third and final spring concert was dedicated to trumpeter, composer, bandleader, and amateur painter Laco Déczi, who lives in the United States and, at 85, continues to tour globally.
