Human responsibility is tied to the weight of consequences. The responsibility of art is light — because it does not arise from obligation, but from sensitivity. It is not a reaction to wrongdoing. It is a reaction to perception.
This year’s theme, Responsibility, is understood not as a burden but as the ability not to ignore. To perceive, reflect, and respond according to one’s own values. Art carries a special kind of responsibility: it is not bound to a specific act, yet it can have a profound impact. Light in form, yet powerful in meaning.
The series will open with Never Sol and a string trio, presenting an introspective, sonically experimental concert that responds to the realities of today’s world with sensitivity and without compromise. Jana Kirschner will follow with a special acoustic set in an intimate, personal atmosphere built on authenticity and the strength of her voice. The cycle will conclude with Igor Orozovič & Co., whose original concert blends chanson, pop, and jazz, turning music into a personal statement and an open dialogue with the audience.
Proceeds from ticket sales will support the Pianos to Schools project of the Karel Komárek Family Foundation, specifically its scholarship programs for young talents.
