Guided Tour of the Love Exhibition

What does a collaboration look like between a sculptor and illustrator of mythical worlds and a conceptual artist working at the intersection of ecology, street art, and tattooing?

You can discover this and much more during a guided tour of the new exhibition Love at Artium by KKCG on Thursday, September 24 at 4:00 PM in Prague’s Bořislavka district.

This year, Artium is also becoming part of the renowned visual arts festival Prague Art Week. You can join its program and visit, as part of the guided tour, “an exhibition with completely crazy subject matter — love that is reciprocated,” as the artists themselves describe it.

Matěj and Alessandra set out on the trajectories of two stars heading toward a collision. The result is not a romantic idyll, but an honest and at times self-ironic account of what happens when two autonomous artistic worlds meet, overlap, and merge.

The guided tour will also include a closer look at Nest, a sculpture by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa, the first permanent public artwork by an international artist installed in Prague since the Velvet Revolution.
