Artium hosted Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week
This year’s edition focused on a young generation of designers and emerging talents. They are exploring new ways of presenting fashion while also reflecting on responsibility in a broader sense. They are interested in sustainability within the fashion and textile industry, as well as in more sensitive and inclusive representations of the human body.
These themes closely resonate with Artia’s current focus and its Responsibility Line. The reflective approach of young designers naturally aligns with Artia’s mission: to open up new perspectives and encourage deeper reflection through art. At Artia, Fashion Week became another expression of what this space strives for—to bring art closer to people, create unexpected encounters, and inspire new ways of perceiving ourselves and the world around us.
A standout moment came with Zoltán Tóth’s show. The runway featured Allwyn Champs—young athletic talents supported by Allwyn, part of KKCG Group’s entertainment pillar. Their presence connected fashion and sport in a single symbolic gesture.
Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week also serves as an incubator for emerging talent. One of its key initiatives is the Mattoni Young Fashion Stars competition. This year’s winner, Barbora Kotěšovcová, will receive financial support and the opportunity to present her own show during the Spring/Summer 2027 edition. The other finalists will showcase their work at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, which is also supported by Allwyn.
